When I find places like the haberdasher, it does a couple of things. First, it gives me continued faith in humanity and it also gives me greater faith in the free enterprise system! Mr. Goodwin, the dapper proprietor of the establishment is a super cool, super chill gentleman who has an eye for fashion and takes really good care of his customers! He's like a modernized version of the monopoly guy, sans the pretentious monocle. That said, he's the dude who could pull off a top hat and monocle with the sophistication of not the monopoly guy!
This place is a small storefront just off Yakima Avenue, that apparently has been here for 20 years. He worked at Nordstrom for many years, and now has officially been open doing his own gig for longer than he worked at Nordstrom!
He specializes in helping gentlemen look their best. They carry an incredible selection of shirts, ties, pants, suits and accoutrements including hats, scarves and cuff links. Everything is custom tailored and included...

Discovered the Haberdasher unfortunately right as I was about to move from town. I was only in the shop for a short time but had a good experience talking to Steve and one of his staff members. They were knowledgeable about their trade and helped me find something that worked for me, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly.
Definitely would visit again if back in town!

Steve is incredibly knowledgeable about his craft and a consummate salesman. It is the only shop in town I visit when I need business or dress attire. Steve can tailor a suit in the same day and he makes modifications as needed. I do pay a premium for his products and I am willing to do that for two reasons. One, the quality of his product is quite high and it lasts for a long time. Two, and this is the most important thing, he stands by his clothes. As an example, a local dry cleaner recently cleaned my suit and in doing so broke the two front buttons on my suit jacket. They didn’t tell me about it, instead I had to find out about it while wearing the jacket a few hours before a board meeting. It was a poor reflection on the dry cleaner, but there was nothing they could do in a couple of hours. So, I swung by Steve’s shop. Within a couple of minutes, the jacket was back with his tailor and within 15 minutes I walked out of the door with brand new buttons on my jacket… at ...
